The Home philosophy is based on a belief that all residents are entitled to be treated as individuals. The philosophy of care will be achieved by assessing the needs of all residents individually and using this information to develop a ‘person-centred’ care plan. This will be created by working with families, friends and the appropriate health care professionals. Furthermore, this will be achieved through programmes of activities designed to encourage mental alertness, self-esteem, social interaction and with recognition of the following core values of care which are fundamental to the Philosophy of our care home; privacy, dignity rights, independence, choice, fulfilment, security, respect, equality and individualism.
We appreciate that choosing a Residential Care Home may be one of the most difficult decisions you have to make. We are aware it is important you make the correct choice for “your needs”, therefore we encourage you to come and visit us. You would be given a tour of the house and we would be happy to discuss any concerns or answer any questions you may have.
If your seeking a suitable Care Home for your loved one, we understand this is a difficult decision for you. We love family members to be involved in their loved ones care and we keep an “open house” policy where visitors are welcome at any time. We hold monthly family meetings, which gives you the opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have or recieve new information. This ensures you are kept updated regarding the care your relative is receiving. We take pride in maintaining close but professional relationships with the families and friends of our residents.
